Approximately 30 hours, recent Aerofix full service, inspection and retrim – condition excellent (report can be provided). Used solely for XC and leisure flying around Europe in thermic conditions. Only ever flown by me and my partner.
The best tandem I have flown with easy launch and landing characteristics and great handling. Very reluctant sale but it is unlikely to be used post-pandemic, so someone else should enjoy it.
Postage/delivery additional cost, depending on destination. Happy to meet in the UK within reasonable distance of Leeds if you want to see the wing.

AD Volt 3
The Air Design Volt3 is a high performance XC wing, so if you have a good range of experience this might be the wing for you. It passed our annual ‘warrant of fitness’ inspection and porosity test with flying colours several months ago, a professional line check/test, and hasn’t been used for SiV or been in the water. Weight range 70 – 85kg (S), flown for 140 hours, and mostly packed loose to prolong the life of the wing. Colour scheme is Vampire (red, blue, white) and only 3.8kg! That’s one kg lighter than my Cure2 so great for hike & fly. Complete with Air Design 50/50 AirPack and riser bag. Price is $NZ1,450 or £930

Gin Explorer XS (65-85kg) 135hrs
Gin Explorer XS (65-85kg) 135hrs lime green.
The glider was first flown in July 2020. I bought it off the previous owner after 60 hours in September last year. I have flown it 75 hours (logged by vario) in the last 6 months, mostly from the grassy South Downs. The previous owner is a friend and looked after the glider well, as have I. It is always carefully packed in the concertina bag (included) and thoroughly dried if wet from dew.
Gin recommend an inspection after 36 months or 150 hours, so it is nearly due. To me the cloth seems in great condition, ie crinkly and not discoloured. When launching the glider rises quickly and I do not have concerns about the line trim. (The lines are all Edelrid 8000, ie aramid, and not as prone to shrinking.) I’m not planning to service the wing but let me know if you’d only be interested after a service.
The smaller Gin “Concertina compress” bag as pictured is included (65x30cm, 200g). If you have any questions, please ask.
