I’ve had this glider for 2 years to use for hike and fly for just 40 hours logged, it’s the most amazing light and very very small. It fits inside a small harness like the Niviuk Roamer 2. I’ve put on some weight and I’m now well over the weight limit so reluctantly selling.

Flying
The ARRIBA3 is a lightweight allrounder. Thanks to its lower weight, its launching is a dream and its extreme flight behavior more docile. For those who like it a little faster or more dynamic handling, we’ve extended the weight range up by 5kg in each size (LFT/EN B). With its direct and precise handling, you can feel the genes of the TEQUILA4. Just like the TEQUILA4, the ARRIBA3 addresses a wide range of pilots. From the thermal hound to the hike & flyer to the budding XC pilot, the ARRIBA3 is just the right wing. The top features of this glider are its low weight, simplicity and pure desire to fly.
Performance
Through the use of unsheathed top lines we were able to improve performance slightly over the TEQUILA4, especially when flying on bar. Its climb performance is fantastic, allowing you to easily master long XC flights.
Safety
The ARRIBA3’s use of lighter materials makes its extreme flight behavior quite manageable. Thanks to JET FLAPS, control line travel to the stall point is long and control pressure is light, but increases markedly as you approach the stall. If you want to fly safely, then the ARRIBA3 is the right glider for you. It’s also suitable for low time pilots or for those who fly only sporadically.

Jet Flaps
By narrowing the cross section of the slit (channel), Jet Flaps create a Venturi effect that accelerates the airflow. The air is redirected from the lower sail (pressure area) to the upper sail (suction area) where it exits. Airflow separation is delayed, the stall occurs later, minimum speed is reduced, and the pilot has more angle of attack reserve. This is a considerable benefit during critical phases like launch, landing and tight thermals. More information
Hybrid Line Geometry
The perfect mix of Aramid and Dyneema lines maximizes durability and minimizes trim changes over the lifecycle of your glider. This optimal use of line materials lowers air resistance and minimizes weight.
3 Line Levels
True 3-line technology with greatly reduced drag for more performance and easier line sorting. Three line levels from the risers to the wing without line junctions.
Rigid Foil
The leading edge is reinforced with flexible nylon battens.The result is a substantial weight savings that positively affects the handling in extreme conditions. The Rigid Foil technology gives that the leading edge maintains an optimal shape to ensure even airflow over the wing and a constant ram air pressure. The wing glides better, especially in accelerated flight. During launch, the battens hold leading edge open, making inflation a snap.
Mini Ribs
Doubling of the cell in the region of the trailing edge: increased shape stability, less resistance, more performance.
3D-Shaping
Fitting of an additional band: precisely shaped wing, less resistance, more performance.
Narrow Risers
Use of narrow materials for risers: but the handling is slightly more sophisticated.
C-wires
Nylon reinforcement over the C suspension point in the upper sail instead of lines: less resistance, more performance.
Construction
The ARRIBA3 takes advantage of nearly all the design details of the TEQUILA4. The primary differences lie in the material mix used as well as some modifications on the risers.
Rigid Foils
Rigid Foils in the leading edge ensure a light profile contour with a stable shape. C-wires dampen the wing’s trailing edge and help the ARRIBA3 take full advantage of every thermal. All reinforcements are made of indestructible plastic and are bend resistant. A special packing method is unnecessary.
Lines and Material
Our goal with the ARRIBA3 was to create a glider suitable 100% for daily use, rather than maxing out a lightweight wing. That’s why we chose an intelligent material mix from Porcher. In the sensitive places like the top side of the leading edge we use Skytex 38. On the rest of the top sail we use Skytex 32 and Skytex 27 for the bottom sail. The ARRIBA3 is equipped with unsheathed top lines and the rest of the lines are sheathed. In summary, the ARRIBA3 is an excellent symbiosis of suitability for daily use on the one hand, and lightweight construction on the other.
Mini Ribs
Mini ribs on the trailing edge enhance brake response and improve form drag. An optimized brake-line gathering system reduces control pressure.
3D-Shaping
3D shaping behind the leading edge on the top sail means fewer wrinkles and also helps to reduce drag.
